Mrs.Freimark, CTK’s principal, volunteered at McDonalds in support of McHappy Day. While she was serving customers, grade 8 students volunteered their time dancing with Mr.Burla and Mrs.Bazan. McHappy Day supports Ronald McDonalds Houses and local children’s charities (SPEC). Who’s the mystery customer?
Mrs.LaFreniere’s Grade 7 students have been studying plants. It looks like there’s been a lot of growth in grade 7 Science!

Congratulations to Gia and Sandina who competed in the Midget Girls Doubles at the CTK badminton tournament this past weekend. They won the Bronze medal! Way to go!
March was Alberta Francophone Month in Alberta. The snow made for perfect conditions for Mrs.LaFreniere's French 7/8 class to partake in a Franco-Canadian tradition. It is called "tire d'érable sur la neige" (maple syrup taffy on snow). It is part of many Francophone winter festivals and tastes like butterscotch ripple ice cream! Students were learning about Le Carnaval de Québec. Looks yummy!!!😋
Mrs.LaFreniere's grade 7 Science students completed their 'bridge-building' projects during their 'Structures & Forces' unit! We 'truss' that they had fun and that the hard work didn't take a 'toll' on them! 😃
CTK Athletics would like to thank our parents and teacher volunteers who helped run the recently concluded 4th Annual Badminton Tournament this weekend. A huge thank you to Dr. Dallas Wagner, Mrs. Gina Rasmussen, Mrs. Melissa Slomp, Ms. Katelyn Keenan, Mrs. Mrazek and Mrs. Cindy Voutier. We appreciate your help and support. Thank you to our CTK teachers who stayed and helped during the 2-day events: Mr. Burla, Ms. Sarmiento, Mrs. Rorke, Mrs. Liboiron, Mr. Graham, and Mrs. MacCaffrey.
