JOYFUL WEDNESDAY is happening now at CTK!

After learning, planning, designing, and building, Grade 5 students at CTK showcased their Forts at the annual exhibition! What a great way to demonstrate their knowledge about Canadian history!

Brooks Canonigo, a grade 8 @CTK, read a piece of his functional writing out loud at Tablets and Doorposts Cafe, a celebration of student writing in Okotoks. He was a top 20 finalist and received a $50 Chapters gift card. His work will also be published in the annual Tablets & Doorposts divisional anthology.

Grade 4-6 Track Meet was a success! Monday, June 5 was an excellent day of fun, competition, and community! Results were tabulated and ribbons were handed out on Friday, June 9. Congratulations to all participants!

Bow Habitat Station from Calgary provided us with their fish growing program “Fish in Schools” to help release rainbow trout in their wetland ecosystems. On Thursday, grade 5 students released the rainbow trout into the Brooks Aqueduct pond!

Congratulations to our 24 Royals Track and Field team who competed in the Zones Championship on May 31, 2023 in Calgary. Despite the rain that poured yesterday, it didn’t stop them from running, jumping and throwing! Congratulations to all athletes and a special thank you to parents and teachers for supporting our amazing athletes! Go Royals!

5B will be holding a Summer Bake Sale this Thursday! Come support our grade 5 classes by buying baked goodies, sweet treats, and more! We can't wait to see you all there!

It's Rodeo Week in Brooks, Alberta. We hope to see y'all dressed up in your western duds on Friday, June 9th!

A HUGE Congratulations to all 48 CTK athletes who competed in their respective events during the Grasslands Track Meet on May 25, 2023. 23 students advanced to Zones Track Championship in Calgary. All 4 CTK relay teams travelled to ZONES as well.

We learn, we compete....and we DANCE! Check out the grade 4-6 Spring Dance!

Five CTK Students competed in a chess tournament at BJHS. In the double elimination event, every CTK student took a win! Special shout out to Nik Kibsey for three wins and getting close to the finals! Congratulations!

Monday, June 5 is Track Meet Day at CTK and it is going to be a HOT one! Grade 4 from Holy Family Academy will be joining the grade 5 & 6 students! Please note that the attached schedules may change slightly through the day and volunteers are still welcome. Recommended items to pack include: -water bottle -sunscreen -bug spray -lunch & snacks -proper gym attire including running shoes
