Mrs.dePiero has been busy making recess fun and engaging. She has been providing CTK and SJC students with structured sports and activities. We have been playing soccer, hockey, skipping, volleyball, cats cradle and so much more. She's loving opportunities to teach sportsmanship, conflict management and cooperation. HFA has been graciously sharing their space with us to make this happen.

CTK staff and students participated in the annual Terry Fox Run. Together we raised $751.00. Way to go CTK!
Grade 7 students participated in the Terry Fox walk on September 22. Students wore badges with names of loved ones they chose to walk for!
6E students spent time getting to know each other the first week of school. Miss Sarmiento had the groups come up with things they all had in common, write them on index cards, and then use them to build the tallest tower.

🧡Honouring National Truth and Reconciliation Day 🧡 Staff and students honour National Truth and Reconciliation Day by participating in Orange Shirt Day. Students also completed a collaborative art project that turned out amazing! Thank you to all who participated!
Parents and Guardians of CTK students are invited to become part of the CTK parent council. We will join together on Tuesday, September 26 at CTK at 7:00 pm to elect new available roles, set budgets, plan fundraising events and discuss your child’s education. Parent Council is a great way to be involved in education, and the meeting will commence at 8:30.
Wednesday, September 27, 2023 is PICTURE DAY!
The whole school will participate in the Terry Fox Run. All students must have permission in order to participate. This may be done through school cash online! Our school goal is to raise $1000.00 so bring $2.00 & wear a hat on Friday! Oh ya, and wear your favorite jersey, too!
