Welcome to CTK Mr. Bolander! Doug Bolander brings a strong passion for teaching, learning, and coaching to Christ the King Academy. With teaching experience across Canada and internationally, he has worked with students from elementary through high school. Doug enjoys coaching basketball and believes teaching and coaching go hand in hand building growth, teamwork, and confidence. He is excited to be part of the CTK team and the Brooks community. Grade 7 & 8 students are writing final exams this week, with tutorial sessions available each afternoon. Grade 6 students will complete their final PAT – Math Part B and celebrate with a FRIDAY FUNDAY! Grade 5 students will be heading to Blackfoot Crossing in two separate groups on different days. This past Friday, students spent the day learning about Indigenous cultures and participating in different Indigenous activities! Some activities included making bannock, lacrosse, painting turtles, braiding, Métis sash weaving, Norval Morriseau inspired art, dot painting, hand games, field shinny, and many more!
